For most non-French driving licences an IDP is strongly recommended and often requested by insurers in case of an incident. EU, UK and North American licences in the Latin alphabet are accepted at pickup, but police checks may still ask for an IDP. We include IDP-friendly paperwork with every rental.
Renters must be 21 years old with a valid driving licence held for at least one year. Some premium categories require 23+ with two years of licence history. There is no young-driver surcharge on standard categories.
Every EKSCARS rental includes Third-Party Liability, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection. Excess reduction and full-cover upgrades are available at pickup or in the booking flow.
Drop-off is free between Marrakech, Casablanca, Agadir and Tangier when the rental is 5 days or longer. Shorter one-way rentals carry a transparent inter-city fee shown before you confirm — never at pickup.
